On Friday Nov 8th and Saturday Nov 9th we will present Documentary, a new video work by Richard Sides.
‚Documentary is the first outing of an ongoing project that began in early 2021 when I bought a new video camera. The work follows a specific process: everything I shoot on this one particular video camera is included, produced with in-camera editing (tourné-monté). This is a materialist approach with a very simple score that dictates what I choose to shoot - that the media remains consecutive and unedited.‘
On both dates, the video will be continuously screened from 6pm till around midnight, visible and audible from the street.
